While earning their high school diplomas, our students have the option to join our construction training and AmeriCorps program.

Construction students earn a construction pre-apprenticeship certification from the National Center for Construction Education and Research and put their skills to use by building homes for low-income homeowners in underserved communities. After volunteering 450 hours, these students earn an AmeriCorps college educational award.

 

Construction students also partner with a non-profit organization of their choice to do additional community service.
