Daniela Ramirez

Bio-Flex Program

Daniela Ramirez, a Lawndale resident, was a senior at Lawndale High School in the Centinela Valley Union High School District when she participated in the BioFlex Pre-Apprenticeship in Spring 2022. During her training, she completed Blueprint for Workplace Success as well as technical skills classes that included medical diagnosis, pharmaceutical development and OSHA regulations.

Daniela also learned from a variety of employers about the many career pathways within the Los Angeles life science ecosystem.

Her training was funded by the Howmet Foundation. She is now attending Cal State University in Fullerton, majoring in Kinesiology.
