Jazmen Garcia

Jazmen Garcia, sixteen-year-old Lennox resident, dropped out of high school her sophomore year and was staying home. Her plan was to continue her education through independent studies up until she sought to enroll in the SBWIB YouthBuild program. The variety of programs offered, support and financial assistance motivated Jazmen to obtain her diploma through SBWIB YouthBuild.

As a result of her participation in the program, Jazmen became more focused, open minded, stayed out of trouble and was productive during her day. She strives to do her best. After completing the program, she will receive a certification through construction training.

Upon graduation, Jazmen will be attending community college to pursue her dream career of becoming a nurse.
