Domonique Walker

Domonique, 19 year-old from Los Angeles, attended a continuation school that was not working for his studies. His counselor assisted Domonique in finding a program better suited for him. After hearing what the SBWIB YouthBuild program had to offer, a full-time program with hands-on experience and visual learning, Domonique became highly interested and enrolled in the program.

Domonique found the DOL program the most helpful, through it they assisted him in finding a job due to his financial struggles at home. Domonique became a better individual, his grades improved tremendously and he discovered an interest in attending college.

Domonique’s plans after graduation consist of attending community college and become a marine biologist.
