At 27, William Yoon is building a career in aerospace, working in Environmental & Specialty Testing at Northrop Grumman while studying Engineering Technology at El Camino College. His journey shifted when he joined SBWIB’s Aero-Flex Pre-Apprenticeship, where he gained soft skills, resume and interview support, and mentorship from industry professionals.

After years of uncertainty and setbacks, including COVID disruptions and family caregiving, William returned to school with purpose. While balancing work, school, and family, he secured a role at Northrop Grumman. He now plans to complete a bachelor’s degree in engineering at CSU Long Beach. William’s story reflects how dedication and SBWIB’s support can open doors to lasting career success.
