Meet Luis Vizcaino

Luis Vizcaino, a seasoned professional from Hawthorne, struggled to find a new job after being notified six months in advance of his departure from his previous employer. Despite updating his resume and applying to multiple opportunities, repeated rejections left him frustrated. Seeking a more targeted approach, Luis turned to the SBWIB.

Working with a job developer and case manager, he received personalized coaching, job leads, and support. This strategic approach led to a successful job offer with the City of Los Angeles, where Luis now thrives, feeling fulfilled and challenged in his new role.

ā€œI’m thankful to the SBWIB team for their support and guidance. Their advice on navigating the job market and presenting my skills made all the difference.ā€
