Meet Shane Hagan
Workforce Challenge:
El Segundo resident, Shane Hagan, visited the South Bay One-Stop Business & Career Center after being laid-off from his position in the information technology sector. Despite his impressive background in server infrastructure as a system engineer, Shane lacked industry recognized credentials, a formal education, and professional certifications.
Workforce Solution:
Working with his career counselor, Shane enrolled into the CISCO certified network administrator program at New Horizons Career Development Solutions.
Outcome and Benefits:
Shortly after successfully completing his training program, he secured employment with NKSFB, one of Los Angeles’ largest premier accounting and business management firms as a System Engineer with a six-figure income.
