Yalonda Wade is the Youth Program Coordinator and Job Developer for Inglewood One-Stop. She is responsible for assisting youth with career exploration, work-based learning, resumes, cover letters, interview techniques, internships, and job search. She has been with the South Bay Workforce Investment Board (SBWIB) for a year.

Before SBWIB, Yalonda spent five years taking care of her mother, who had terminal Alzheimer's Disease and required 24-hour supervision. She is also a former Juvenile Probation Counselor and California State Peace Officer. She has done Job Development for about 15 years, and she loves working with youth. Yalonda has a Master's Degree in Criminology, Law, and Society and a Bachelor's Degree in Social Ecology/Criminal Justice from the University of California, Irvine. She is a member of the Criminal Justice Honor Society, Alpha Phi Sigma.

Yalonda is inspired by the youth and their success and by watching youth learn and grow and evolve to new heights. Yalonda is self-motivated by her desire to help youth aspire to have the best life that they can have. Her life experience and her desire to share knowledge with young critical thinkers is her motivating force. She finds such a great feeling helping youth get hired because it's life-changing for everyone. She can contribute to the customer experience by giving each youth that she serves her full attention in one on one sessions to assist them with all of their job search needs, including interview techniques. Furthermore, she provides career exploration into careers that pay high wages and that students may have never heard of.
