To promote a fully integrated workforce investment policy development process,
forge partnerships among economic and community development agencies,
and strive for continuous improvement to meet job seeker and employer needs.

STRATEGIC ECONOMIC & WORKFORCE
INVESTMENT GOALS
|
- Identify and provide on-going access to quality services that meet the
current and future workforce needs of youth, job-seekers, and employer;
- Build business, education and community partnerships, which address the
life-long education, training and employment needs of youth;
- partner with economic development entities to create, retain, and expand
businesses;
- Expand community awareness and support of workforce development issues,
policies and initiatives; and
- Design and facilitate a framework for coordinating public policy
impacting workforce development issues.
