Employment Services for Adults Eligible individuals, recieve in-depth assessment and job preparation workshops. The workshops help prepare individuals for re-employment by assessing transferable job skills, interviewing skills and preparation of a professional resume. If eligible, individuals may be refered to classroom training at public or private vocational schools, colleges or universities found on the Regional Training Vendor Directory (RTVD). Employment Services for Adults are available on the 4th floor of the South Bay One-Stop in Hawthorne. To find out if you qualify for this program: 1.Call the South Bay One-Stop Center in Hawthorne at (310) 219-3770 to set up an appointment with an employment specialist to become oriented with the availible services and benifits they offer. 2.Bring a current resume. If you don't already have a resume, assemble as much information as possible reguarding your employment for the past ten years including details concerning job duties. 3.Come to the center on the date of your appointment and bring photo identification.
