SBWIB
began as SBPIC or the South Bay Private Industry Council, and
was established in 1982 after the Job Training Partnership Act
was established by the Federal Government to provide employment
and training service. Eventually, SBWIB took on its current
name and moved from Inglewood to its present location in the
city of Hawthorne. |
